- Tristram attempts to engage the Shadow Lord ahroun, Gustav, in a bit of
conversation. A kind man might label it successful.

- After being bested by the Swara, Tremaine, Daniel confesses the details
of Lucien De Pre's death to the Van Hamersfeld Family.
- Retaliations
- The philodox, Damek, apprises Tristram of what he has learned regarding
Lt. De Pre's demise. He pledges support and offers advice on what will
satisfy for vindication.

- A brief conversation is interrupted. It seems Mme. Russell has taken

- Half-naked, the Major's wife finds herself unaccompanied in the
abominable Rose House in the company of a filthy American. Scandal is not
far behind. Later, Griele confesses to Katrien about the demons who haunt
her.
- Respect the Territory of Another
- Tristram seeks out the Silent Striders in an attempt to learn something
-- anything -- from them and the land they protect.
- Ode to Walks-Between
- The Shadow Lord ahroun, Robert, challenged Skylar for Rank. The
challenge was to compose a rhyming poem and perform it for the tribe. This
is that performance.
- The Wild Women Come
- A lupine conversation between Black-Wings and Tempts-Fate exchanges
information about the newcomer to the Congo, a Black Fury philodox, and her
prey.
- A Fool's Errand
- A Rose House cardgame is interrupted by the summation of the Black
Fury's hunt. Stalks-Prey leads a war party of Garou against the Turk that
has escaped her for over a year. Features: Gustav, Faith, Daniel, Robert,
Rolf, Tempts-Fate and Hawwara.
- The Unforgiven
- Led by the Fostern ahroun, Walks-Between, Truth's-Dagger and
Lightstealer form a pack under the patronage of their tribal totem,
Grandfather Thunder. The pack must confront, again, the one failed front of
the War of Rage: Africa.
- Second Moot
- A new alpha, Walks-Between, the Shadow Lord Ahroun, calls the rag-tag
band of Congo Garou to moot with mixed results.
- Le Feu
- Leopoldville's only church, Our Lady of the Divine Blessing, burns
down. Features: Daniel, Catherine, Tristram, Skylar, Shomari, Gustav,
Robert, Katrien, Van Haute and Albert.
- Mule Meets-the-Rain
- Under the waxing half-moon, Marian ~She-Whose-Voice-Is-Pure~ births her
child. Features: Catherine, Daniel, Florian, Gustav, Katrien, Robert,
Tristram and Anselm Van Haute.
- "It Cannot Be Indulged to Survive"
- Later, Robert speaks with Tristram about the fate of the metis, and the
nature of being Thunder's grandchild.
- Who Mourns for Drake
- Robert arrives at the Van Hamersfeld residence with a bit of food for
the metis child. He speaks awkwardly with the Lady of the house about the
fate of the child monster.
- "It's Done, Then?"
- Dr. Baynford and his assistant lay the metis to rest. Also features
Albert.
- The Unquiet Garden
- Daniel returns to the Van Hamersfeld House to discover that the metis
is dead. He speaks to Katrien.
- The Curse of the Fianna
- Leave it to Stag's children to use words so effectively as to
manipulate the Lords of Shadow against one another. Catherine's reaction
to the metis' death sows discord among Thunder's grandchildren. Features
Katrien.
- The Reckoning
- Robert reminds Daniel about the importance of Rank. Up close and
personal.
